Parents protest at Instituto Fischmann following police investigation

Parents gathered outside the Instituto Técnico Vocacional Dr. Imrich Fischmann in Zone 13 to demand answers from school authorities following police actions on October 23. The protests occurred amid the suspension of classes and concerns regarding academic evaluations.

On October 23, the National Civil Police (PNC) and the Public Ministry (MP) conducted inspections of mobile devices belonging to approximately 200 students across nine sections. According to judicial sources, these searches are part of an investigation into audiovisual material containing sexual content allegedly involving minors.

Parents have expressed dissatisfaction with the school's response, specifically citing concerns that upcoming exams will be conducted online with only ten-minute time limits, which they argue is insufficient. While classes remain suspended, the institution has convened teachers to discuss how to manage the ongoing situation.
