Parera and Ceballos host 24th La Pampa Choral Festival

The 24th edition of the La Pampa Choral Festival will take place over the weekend of 8–9 August in the Argentine towns of Parera and Ceballos. On Saturday, 8 August, the municipal sports centre in Parera will host four choirs – Villa Saritay, Voces del alma (directed by Rina Jurado), Lazos de amistad de Alta Italia (Eduardo Ferrando) and Punta de rieles (Miguel Ferrando) – beginning at 20:00. The following day, the municipal sports centre in Ceballos will feature children’s and youth ensembles, including the Municipal Infantil Primaveral, Infanto‑Juvenil group from the Centro de Artes Vocales de Intendente Alvear, and the Infanto‑Juvenil choir of Macachín (Sebastián Ferrando), all under the direction of Flor Fernández.

All concerts are free to the public and are supported by the municipalities of Parera and Ceballos. The festival is organized by the Asociación Coral de La Pampa, which plans a total of 30 concerts in 27 venues across the province for this edition.
