Parghelia Summer Camp concludes five-week program for local children

The 2026 edition of the Parghelia Summer Camp has concluded after five weeks of programming for 40 primary school students. The initiative was organized by the Municipality of Parghelia in collaboration with Fondazione Valentia ETS.

Running from July 1 to August 7, the camp provided a diverse curriculum including sports, creative workshops, music, environmental and digital education, and activities focused on legality and active citizenship. The program was designed to combine recreation with the development of social, civic, and expressive skills.

A key feature of the initiative was its total gratuity, which ensured equal access for all children regardless of their family's economic status. Local officials noted that the free service provided significant support to parents during the school closure period. The program concluded with a final celebration for participants, families, and municipal administration.
