Parham Gheirati returns from surgery to face Nakrob Fairtex

Iranian fighter Parham Gheirati is set to return to competition at ONE Fight Night 48 on Friday, October 2, facing Nakrob Fairtex in a bantamweight Muay Thai bout. The event will take place at Lumpinee Stadium in Bangkok.

Gheirati, 22, is returning to the ring following a year-long recovery from surgery. His last victory occurred in October 2025 against Tyson Harrison. Before his injury, Gheirati had established himself as a rising talent within ONE Championship, earning a $100,000 main roster contract after a successful streak that included a stoppage victory over George Mouzakitis.

Originally from Tehran, Gheirati chose to follow his father’s path in kickboxing rather than the traditional wrestling practiced in Iranian schools. After moving to Thailand and facing an initial period of struggle with five consecutive losses, he found success training at Petchsaman Gym in Pattaya.
