Parijat Industries launches Context herbicide for wheat cultivation

Parijat Industries has introduced Context, a post-emergent herbicide designed to manage broadleaf weeds in wheat crops. The product utilizes a patented technology platform that combines two complementary modes of action through a formulation of Fluroxypyr and Metribuzin.

Scheduled for the Rabi 2026 season, the herbicide will target major wheat-producing regions in India, including Punjab, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan. The company stated that the launch aims to address evolving weed-management challenges and support crop productivity by providing a differentiated solution for farmers.
