Paris adds fresh summer restaurants and standout swimming venues
Paris is unveiling a set of new summer dining venues that bypass the usual queues, offering upscale meals and relaxed atmospheres. Highlights include Maison Roland, a Shangri‑La‑operated restaurant behind the former Prince Roland Bonaparte’s residence on avenue d’Iéna, and a seasonal guinguette at the Palais de la Porte Dorée run by the Bellevilloise team, featuring live music, street‑food and a garden setting.
At the same time, the city’s most exceptional public pools are being promoted as cool retreats with architectural flair and panoramic city views. Ten pools across Paris combine historic Art Deco or concrete designs with modern amenities, turning a simple swim into a cultural experience and offering vistas of rooftops, monuments and the Eiffel Tower.
