Paris and Île-de-France highlight cultural exhibitions and scenic parks
Paris and the surrounding Île-de-France region offer various cultural and scenic attractions for the upcoming season. In Paris, notable upcoming exhibitions include a Gianni Versace retrospective at the Musée Maillol, featuring 450 iconic pieces including clothing and sketches, running until October 31. The Musée du Luxembourg will host an Andy Warhol exhibition focusing on his drawings and archives from September 16, 2026, to January 10, 2027. Additionally, the Jeu de Paume features a photography collection from Sir Elton John and David Furnish.
Outside the capital, the Parc du Prieuré in Conflans-Sainte-Honorine provides a scenic alternative to crowded city parks. Located 30 minutes from Gare Saint-Lazare, the 5-hectare park features terraced gardens, a Renaissance and Gothic style château, and a historic greenhouse. The site also houses the Musée de la batellerie, the most significant museum of its kind in France.
