Paris and Seine-et-Marne offer diverse cultural and outdoor activities

The Seine-et-Marne region offers diverse tourism opportunities, ranging from historical castles and museums to preserved natural landscapes. Visitors can explore cultural heritage through guided tours or enjoy outdoor activities in vast forests and traditional villages located near Paris.

In the Paris area, several free cultural activities are scheduled for mid-October 2026. The eleventh edition of the National Architecture Days (JNA) features exhibitions at Parc de la Villette, meetings at the Ministry of Culture, and tours of the Théâtre Silvia Monfort. Additionally, local farms and producers are hosting open days, including a visit to the Paris Gravelle vineyard in the Bois de Vincennes.
