Paris Brunner considers switching national team allegiance to DR Congo
Paris Brunner, a 20-year-old talent playing for AS Monaco, is reportedly considering switching his national team allegiance from Germany to the DR Congo, the home country of his mother. This development follows his exclusion from the initial large squad selected by new German national team coach Jürgen Klopp.
Brunner has seen a significant rise in form, scoring six goals in his first seven competitive matches this season. While he is set to make his debut for the German U21 team in the near future, he has not yet made a final decision regarding his international future. Klopp noted that while he has not spoken to Brunner directly about the matter, he is aware of the player and noted that staff member Hannes Wolf is a supporter of the youngster.
