Paris business events focus on sport industry and green sovereignty

Bpifrance has announced the 12th edition of the BIG conference, scheduled for October 8, 2026, at the Accor Arena in Paris. Themed ‘Culot’, the event will feature over 500 workshops and conferences focusing on business transformation. A significant portion of the program is dedicated to the sport business sector, covering topics such as investment, private equity, audiovisual rights, Sportech, and the integration of artificial intelligence in sports performance.

Separately, the MEDEF (Mouvement des entreprises de France) is hosting a debate in Paris titled ‘Puissance verte’ (Green Power). The event aims to discuss the ecological transition as a strategic tool for economic sovereignty and competitiveness for France and Europe. Discussions led by MEDEF President Patrick Martin and Minister Mathieu Lefèvre will explore how environmental standards and green reindustrialization can serve as instruments of geopolitical influence and industrial strength.
