Paris comedy shows cancelled due to local protests

Performances by comedians Loubna Jaouhari and AZ scheduled for October 17 at the Palais des Glaces in Paris have been cancelled due to security concerns. The decision follows planned demonstrations and gatherings in the city, specifically near the Place de la République.

AZ stated on social media that the proximity of the venue to the protest site made the cancellation necessary to ensure the safety of the audience and staff. Similarly, Loubna Jaouhari cited disruptions to traffic and the closure of certain routes as factors complicating the event's organization.

Ticket holders will be offered options for either a full refund or an exchange for a future date. Jaouhari has announced a new performance date at the Théâtre du Petit Palais des Glaces for the following Thursday.
