Paris court sets trial date for 2022 Rue d'Enghien shooting

William M. is accused of murder and attempted murder following a shooting outside a cultural center that resulted in three deaths and three injuries. Authorities have identified a racist motive for the attack, as the crimes were allegedly perpetrated based on the victims' origins, ethnicity, or religion. The suspect, a retired railway worker, reportedly admitted to the acts during police custody, citing hostility toward foreigners.
