Paris Couture Week showcases Dior and Chanel collections

Dior presented its Fall/Winter 2026 haute couture collection, drawing on sculptor Lynda Benglis’s fluid forms and historic chintz fabrics. Creative Director Jonathan Anderson incorporated latex‑inspired ripples and antique chintz prints into garments and accessories, while a companion exhibition “Grammar of Forms” will run at the Musée Rodin in Paris.

At the same Paris couture schedule, Chanel’s creative director Matthieu Blazy staged a show that omitted corsetry and emphasized liberated silhouettes. Highlights included a “revenge dress” echoing Princess Diana’s black sheath, fairy‑tale inspired pieces, and a mix of sheer and embroidered garments. The runway attracted celebrities such as Catherine Deneuve, Teyana Taylor and Alexa Demie, underscoring the show's cultural resonance.
