Paris Fashion Week accessories dominate 2026 runway and street style

The Paris Haute Couture shows for Winter 2026 placed accessories at the forefront, with designers spotlighting plumes, primary‑color accents, fantastical motifs and animal‑print embellishments. Brazilian luxury shoe brand Lustic’s creative director Cris Lidório noted, “Haute couture continues to dictate behavior, but the big trend today is not to copy a runway. It is to interpret that universe in a sophisticated way connected to a woman’s lifestyle.”

Street‑style observations during Paris Fashion Week echoed these runway cues. Trend‑spotters reported oversized relaxed tailoring, butter‑yellow pieces, transparent fabrics worn by day, a resurgence of maximalist mixing of prints, extensive denim reinterpretations, comfortable yet distinctive footwear, and statement accessories such as wide belts, sculptural earrings and oversized bags.
