Courrèges debuts Drew Henry's Spring-Summer 2027 collection
Designer Drew Henry has made his debut for the French fashion house Courrèges with the Spring-Summer 2027 collection presented at the Palais de Tokyo. Succeeding Nicolas Di Felice, Henry has shifted the brand's recent minimalist direction toward a more vibrant and experimental aesthetic.
Drawing inspiration from the house's archives, the collection features a bold color palette including neon yellow, acid green, tangerine, and burgundy. The designs move away from the strict 'Space Age' minimalism of previous years, instead embracing looser silhouettes, deconstructed forms, and a sense of optimism. The show also revisited the brand's historical 1967 emblem and utilized signature materials like vinyl, PVC, and knitwear in new ways.
While the collection received varied reactions from industry insiders regarding the departure from the previous era's aesthetic, Henry expressed a desire to honor the brand's history while introducing a disruptive, joyful perspective.
