Paris Filmes to Release First One Piece Film Dubbed in Portuguese in Brazilian Theaters

Paris Filmes announced that the first classic One Piece movie, One Piece: The Movie (originally released in Japan in 2000), will debut in Brazilian cinemas on 17 September 2026 with a brand‑new Portuguese dub. The screening will be preceded by the special short “Carnaval de Dança do Jango”.

The distributor also scheduled the next two early films in the franchise: One Piece: Adventure on Spiral Island on 22 October 2026 (accompanied by the short “Mire! O Rei do Beisebol Pirata”) and One Piece: Chopper's Kingdom on the Island of Strange Animals on 3 December 2026 (preceded by “Rei do Futebol dos Sonhos”). All three releases feature the current official Brazilian voice cast – Mayumi Tanaka (Monkey D. Luffy), Kazuya Nakai (Roronoa Zoro), Akemi Okamura (Nami) and Kappei Yamaguchi (Usopp) – and are produced by Toei Animation under director Junji Shimizu.

This marks the first theatrical presentation in Brazil of the franchise’s early movies, the only previous One Piece cinema release being One Piece: RED in November 2022. Posters and further details were released by Paris Filmes throughout July 2026.
