Paris hosts 20th National Forum for Associations and Foundations

The 20th edition of the Forum national des associations et des fondations (FNAF) recently took place in Paris, serving as a central gathering for actors in the social and solidarity economy.

The event featured numerous workshops designed to help volunteers, administrators, and employees of associations improve their skills. Key topics included fundraising and professional training. Participants highlighted the importance of utilizing free digital platforms and e-learning modules to manage costs and motivate staff.

A significant challenge discussed at the forum is the shortage of administrators within the non-profit sector, particularly in associations that employ staff. Organizations are increasingly implementing training programs to prepare future leaders and address the difficulties of leadership succession.
