Paris luxury rooftops unveil new summer dining venues

Galeries Lafayette's roof‑terrace in Paris now hosts Balcon, a bistro overseen by chef Julien Sebbag that serves summer reinterpretations of classic dishes such as mimosa eggs, leeks vinaigrette, ham‑truffle pasta and pistachio‑chocolate profiteroles. The terrace also features La Douce Heure, a temporary bar created by Cyril Lignac offering a St‑Germain Spritz, elderflower‑flavored ice cream and share plates like crudo of sea‑bass with elderflower sauce.

The Peninsula Paris has opened “L’Heure Dorée,” a rooftop bar and restaurant atop its Haussmann‑style building on Avenue Kléber. The venue provides unobstructed views of the Arc de Triomphe, the Trocadéro and the Eiffel Tower, and is positioned as an understated luxury experience that lets guests view the city from a new perspective.
