Paris Motor Show 2026 to feature major SUV and EV debuts

The 2026 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for October 12 to 18 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, will feature a significant emphasis on SUVs and electric vehicles. The event is expected to host over 100 exhibitors and more than 60 manufacturers across 70,000 square meters of indoor space.

Hyundai plans a major presence at the show to strengthen its position in the European market. The company will debut two new SUV models: one receiving a world premiere in the B-segment and another receiving a European premiere in the C-segment. Additionally, Hyundai will showcase its first 100% electric light commercial vehicle and the Ioniq 3, a new electric city car featuring the new Pleos infotainment system.

The SUV segment will be highly competitive, with at least 16 new family-oriented models expected, many of which are from Chinese manufacturers. Notable upcoming models include the electric Aion V, the hybrid Chery Tiggo 7, and the Chery Tiggo 8, alongside entries from brands like XPeng.
