LaLiga switches to Disney+ and DAZN in France, ending BeIN Sports era
Starting with the 2026‑27 season, LaLiga will be broadcast in France exclusively on the streaming services Disney+ and DAZN for three seasons, covering all 380 matches. The league’s president Javier Tebas said the move marks “a new chapter” and highlighted the partners’ “ambitious vision” and ability to reach a wider audience. Both platforms will provide French commentary for every game.
BeIN Sports, which has aired LaLiga in France since 2012, responded with a strongly worded statement, defending its long‑term strategy and accusing the split of being risky. The network emphasized its existing rights portfolio, its partnership with Canal+, and its plans for future sports coverage, while lamenting the loss of a key property after more than a decade.
