Paris Saint-Germain evaluates future stadium options

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is entering a decisive period regarding the selection of its future stadium. The club aims to become a stadium owner and is evaluating three primary options: purchasing and expanding the historic Parc des Princes, or constructing a new facility in either Poissy or Massy.

Club officials are scheduled to conduct final site visits next week. On Tuesday, October 13, the club will visit the proposed site in Poissy, located on a portion of the Stellantis site in the Yvelines department. On Thursday, October 16, representatives will visit a 90-hectare site in Massy, followed by a final visit to the Parc des Princes.

The goal is to secure a venue capable of hosting 70,000 to 80,000 spectators for matches and concerts, a significant increase from the current 48,000 capacity at the Parc des Princes. While fans largely favor remaining at the historic stadium, obstacles such as negotiations with the Paris City Hall and architectural constraints persist. The club intends to finalize its decision by the end of 2026.
