Paris Saint-Germain implements digital detox and prepares for Monaco match

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has implemented a new ‘digital detox’ policy for approximately 140 players and players in its training center. To combat potential smartphone addiction and its impact on sleep and concentration, players aged 11 to 15 are now restricted to a maximum of one hour of phone use per day, specifically between 7:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Access is contingent upon maintaining a clean and organized room. During the week, devices are stored in a central case, a practice that extends to team travel. Players aged 16 and older are also subject to restrictions, though they are less stringent.

On the pitch, the club is preparing for a busy week following a two-day rest period. Training resumes Monday at the Campus PSG, with the expected return of attacker Ousmane Dembélé. The squad is preparing for a Ligue 1 match against AS Monaco, scheduled for Friday, September 4, at the Parc des Princes. Manager Luis Enrique is expected to hold a press conference on Thursday to discuss the squad's status ahead of the match.
