Paris Saint-Germain rejects Newcastle's €30 million bid for defender Lucas Beraldo

Paris Saint-Germain turned down a reported €30 million offer from Newcastle United for Brazilian centre‑back Lucas Beraldo, stating the club has no intention of selling the player this summer. Coach Luis Enrique is said to view Beraldo as a key member of the squad and may also deploy him in midfield, with the club reportedly considering a contract extension.

At the same time, PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, the most expensive French keeper ever signed for €40 million, has fallen out of the starting role and is linked with a possible move. Interest has emerged from clubs in Italy’s Serie A and England’s Premier League, despite Chevalier being under contract until 2030.
