Paris Saint-Germain secures historic trophy haul and Ligue 1 dominance

Paris Saint-Germain has established itself as a dominant force in global football, completing a historic season under manager Luis Enrique. The club achieved a remarkable feat by winning six trophies within a single calendar year, including the FIFA Intercontinental Cup against Flamengo in December 2025.

In European competition, PSG defended its Champions League title on May 30, 2026, defeating Arsenal in Budapest via a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw. The club's domestic success was equally significant, securing its fifth consecutive Ligue 1 title after a 2-0 victory over RC Lens in May 2026.

In recent Ligue 1 action, PSG maintained its momentum with a 2-0 win over Olympique Lyon. Goals from Senny Mayulu and Mika Godts secured the victory, allowing the team to climb to the top of the league standings.
