Paris Saint-Germain seeks contract extension for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia

Paris Saint-Germain is working to secure a contract extension for Georgian winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. Although his current deal runs until June 2029, the club aims to finalize a new agreement, potentially lasting until 2030 or 2031, before the Ballon d'Or announcement on October 26.

Kvaratskhelia, who joined from Napoli in January 2025, has become a central figure in Luis Enrique's attack. Following his arrival, his market value has risen significantly, with estimates reaching approximately 140 million euros. The club's push for a renewal follows the high-profile departure of Bradley Barcola to Liverpool.

Negotiations are reportedly progressing positively. The new terms are expected to include a salary increase to align Kvaratskhelia with the club's other key players. Additionally, the club may include specific clauses related to individual accolades, such as winning the Ballon d'Or, to streamline future negotiations.
