Paris Saint-Germain nears deal for Ajax winger Mika Godts

Paris Saint-Germain is nearing a deal to sign Belgian winger Mika Godts from Ajax Amsterdam. After an initial offer of 45 million euros was rejected, PSG has reportedly increased its proposal to a range between 55 and 58 million euros, including bonuses.

Godts has reportedly already reached a personal agreement with PSG for a five-year contract lasting until June 2031. While Ajax had initially sought a figure closer to 60 million euros, the current improved offer is considered realistic by all parties involved. The 21-year-old player, who was recently named the Johan Cruijff Talent of the Year, is expected to undergo medical examinations as the clubs finalize the transfer.

Recent discussions have been intense, with PSG looking to bolster its attacking options under manager Luis Enrique. While the deal is nearing completion, final formal paperwork is still pending between the two clubs.
