Paris Saint-Germain secured its first major European trophy on 31 May 2025, defeating Inter Milan 5‑0 at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The victory set a new record for the widest margin in a Champions League final. Goals were scored by Achraf Hakimi, Desiré Doué (who netted twice and was named man of the match), Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu, all aged 22 or younger. Coach Luis Enrique praised the youthful squad’s collective effort, noting that the club achieved the triumph without major signings.
