Paris Saint‑Germain defeated Arsenal 4‑3 on penalties after a 1‑1 draw in extra time to win the UEFA Champions League final in Budapest, achieving back‑to‑back titles. UEFA later announced its 2025/26 Champions League Team of the Season. Five PSG players were selected – Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Vitinha and Ousmane Dembélé – while Arsenal contributed three players, including goalkeeper David Raya and midfielder Declan Rice.
