Paris Saint‑Germain signs 18‑year‑old Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni
Paris Saint‑Germain announced the signing of 18‑year‑old Italian goalkeeper Alessandro Longoni. The former AC Milan academy product, born in Como, has joined the club on a contract running to 2031 and will wear the number 16 shirt. Longoni thanked club president Nasser Al‑Khelaïfi, sporting director Luis Campos and manager Luis Enrique for the opportunity and expressed his intent to work hard for the team.
The move follows PSG's recent goalkeeper reshuffle, with the Italo‑Brazilian Renato Marin loaned to CD Nacional in Portugal. Longoni is expected to provide depth in the goalkeeper rotation and could feature in domestic cup matches or Ligue 1 fixtures as the champions manage a demanding schedule.
