Paris Tops Global Street Food City Ranking, Study Finds

A new study by storage‑service company Radical Storage evaluated 6,897 street‑food vendors across the 100 most‑visited cities worldwide. Using criteria such as vendor density, budget‑friendliness, rating scores and variety of cuisines, Paris, France emerged as the top street‑food city with a score of 7.2, driven by a high density of 3.82 vendors per square kilometre and a strong share of budget‑friendly options.

The ranking’s top ten also includes Athens and Thessaloniki in Greece, Barcelona in Spain, London in the United Kingdom, Rhodes in Greece, Rome in Italy, Hanoi in Vietnam, Budapest in Hungary and Amsterdam in the Netherlands. A separate travel‑focused list highlighted 30 global foodie destinations, noting signature dishes and market scenes in cities such as Bangkok, Barcelona, Bologna, Bruges, Buenos Aires, Charleston, Chicago and Ensenada.
