Paris tourism sees record growth in Île-de-France
Paris continues to solidify its status as a global tourism hub, with the Île-de-France region recording 48.9 million overnight stays between April and September 2025. This represents a 12% increase compared to the previous year. International visitors now account for 23 million of these travelers, driving demand for diverse transportation and sightseeing services.
To accommodate various traveler profiles, including families, budget-conscious tourists, and those with reduced mobility, several hop-on hop-off bus and boat operators are competing through digital innovations, specialized audio commentary, and varying service frequencies.
