Parit Wacharasindhu defends ethics after Senate rigging allegations

Parit Wacharasindhu, a People's Party MP and leader of the opposition whip, has responded to ethics complaints filed by certain senators regarding his disclosure of information about alleged Senate election rigging.

Parit stated that he is prepared to undergo all investigation processes and has already cooperated with the House Police Committee. He maintained that his actions were not a breach of ethics but rather a fulfillment of his duty to expose attempts by political groups to manipulate the Senate selection process to control independent organizations and bypass oversight mechanisms.

Addressing the request to recuse himself from ethics committee proceedings related to the complaint, Parit noted that he would voluntarily step away from any deliberations involving his own case to avoid conflicts of interest, a principle he claims to uphold strictly.
