Park Bo Gum named first ambassador for 2026 MAMA AWARDS

South Korean actor Park Bo Gum has been appointed as the first-ever ambassador for the 2026 MAMA AWARDS. In addition to this new role, he will return to host the ceremony for the eighth time, having previously debuted as a host in 2017.

The announcement was made during a media event in Seoul attended by executives from CJ ENM and Mnet. The 2026 ceremony, themed ‘MUSIC INTERSTELLAR’, aims to explore the connection between artists and global fans through music that transcends time and space. As ambassador, Park will serve as a storyteller to help connect the performances and narratives across the two-day event.

The 2026 MAMA AWARDS are scheduled to take place on November 20 and 21 at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan.
