Park Hang-seo signs high-value contract with Kanchanaburi FC

South Korean football manager Park Hang-seo has signed a two-year contract with Kanchanaburi FC in the Thai League 2. According to reports from the Thai news outlet Buaksib, the deal is worth a total of 36 million baht, resulting in a monthly salary of approximately 1.5 million baht (nearly $45,000 USD).

This compensation significantly exceeds the standard pay scale for the division, where managers typically earn between 300,000 and 500,000 baht per month. It also surpasses the reported monthly salary of former Thailand national team coach Masatada Ishii, who earned approximately 700,000 baht per month during the 2023-2025 period.

Park Hang-seo has already made an impact in his new role, leading Kanchanaburi FC to a 4-2 comeback victory against Satun FC in their opening match. The high-value contract reflects the club's financial strength and its ambition to secure promotion to Thai League 1.
