Park Hyun Ho discusses mental health struggles and career setbacks

Former K-pop idol Park Hyun Ho, previously known as Seogoong of the group TOPP DOGG, shared his struggles with mental health and career setbacks during an episode of the KBS2 variety show ‘Mr. House Husband Season 2’.

Park detailed his journey from being a recognized trainee and idol to facing repeated professional failures. After his initial group did not achieve significant success, he attempted to rebuild his career with the group UnderDogg and later as a soloist under the name I’M. Following military service, he transitioned into trot music, performing at various locations to gain exposure.

During the broadcast, Park revealed that the lack of success led to a period of deep despair, during which he attempted to jump from a window but was stopped by his mother. He expressed a desire to work harder than anyone to rebuild his life. His wife, Eun Ga Eun, appeared on the program to offer support, describing him as a dedicated family man.
