Park Ji-sung advises Indonesian footballers on European career paths

Former Manchester United midfielder Park Ji-sung has provided strategic advice to young Indonesian footballers aspiring to play in elite European leagues. Speaking at an event in Jakarta, Park suggested that players should pursue a gradual career progression by first competing in established Asian leagues, such as those in Japan, South Korea, or the Middle East, before attempting to move to Europe.

Park emphasized that success depends on a deep love for the sport and the ability to enjoy the developmental process rather than just technical skill or ambition.

In addition to his career advice, Park Ji-sung and former Manchester United player Patrice Evra visited Indonesia as part of the ‘Road to OGFC Unite 2027’ initiative. The visit aims to promote Indonesian tourism, specifically the Labuan Bajo destination, aligning with the Ministry of Tourism’s focus on sport tourism.
