Park Ji-won advises President Lee on SNS use and rest
Democratic Party lawmaker Park Ji-won has commented on President Lee Jae-myung’s frequent use of social media. Speaking on a BBS radio program, Park noted that while direct communication via SNS is a positive tool for reaching citizens, the President should adopt more formal “presidential language” and ensure he gets enough rest.
Park suggested that the Chief of Staff should focus on managing the President’s well-being and rest, noting that a leader needs sufficient recuperation. Despite these suggestions, Park defended the use of social media, stating that many global leaders utilize these platforms for direct engagement.
President Lee previously reaffirmed his commitment to using social media, describing it as a “lifeline” and a “breathing hole” for communicating with the public. He has expressed intentions to increase direct engagement through SNS, live broadcasts of state affairs, and increased media contact.
