Park Seo-jin holds sea memorial for father's late mother

Trot singer Park Seo-jin shared a moving family story on the KBS2 program ‘Salim Nam Season 2’ during the Chuseok holiday. Park visited his father, who was recently hospitalized due to dizziness and concerns regarding a pre-existing cerebrovascular disease.

During the visit, Park and his family reflected on the memory of his late grandmother. To fulfill his father's wish to honor her, Park and his sister prepared a special sea memorial service (seonsangje) on a boat in Samcheonpo, where his grandmother's ashes had been scattered. This marked the first such ceremony held by the family in 31 years.

The episode also touched upon the family's history of working in the fishing industry and the hardships they faced, highlighting the deep emotional bond between Park and his father.
