Park Seo-jin simulates life as a 70-year-old on KBS2 variety show

On the KBS2 variety show ‘Salim Nam Season 2’, singer Park Seo-jin participated in a special project to better understand his father’s perspective by simulating life as a 70-year-old. Using special effects makeup to appear elderly and wearing equipment that simulates physical limitations, Park experienced the difficulties of daily tasks such as climbing stairs, walking, and using public transportation.

During the episode, Park’s parents surprised him for his birthday, only to be momentarily stunned by his aged appearance. His mother was moved to tears, stating it felt as though she was seeing a glimpse of her son living well into his 70s, while his father expressed gratitude for the effort made to understand the challenges of aging.

In a separate segment, entertainer Hwanhee attempted to win his mother’s approval by learning to cook. After receiving training from Chef Park Min-hyuk and Hong Seok-cheon, Hwanhee prepared a meal for his mother, eventually reaching an agreement to live together for one month.
