PARKEN Sport & Entertainment explores sale of FC København

The board of PARKEN Sport & Entertainment A/S has announced it is exploring strategic options for its football activities, which may include the full or partial sale of FC København. The investigation covers the football club, the women's football division, and the company's stake in the Swedish club FC Rosengård 1917 Elitfotboll AB.

Additionally, the board is considering a potential sale of PARKEN Ejendomme A/S, which includes the Parken stadium and associated office towers, though this is not a prerequisite for a football-related transaction. The goal is to identify new ownership models that could strengthen the club's position through increased investment in sporting performance and infrastructure.

Tifosy Capital & Advisory has been hired as the exclusive financial advisor to manage the process and engage with potential investors. Following the announcement, shares in PARKEN Sport & Entertainment rose by 16 percent on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. Financial analysts estimate the combined value of the club, stadium, and office buildings to be between 1.5 and 2 billion Danish kroner.
