PARKEN Sport & Entertainment explores sale of F.C. København

PARKEN Sport & Entertainment has announced it is investigating strategic options regarding its football activities. The board is considering a full or partial sale of F.C. København, the club’s women’s football division, and its ownership stake in the Swedish club FC Rosengård.

This investigation comes amid sporting setbacks for the Swedish investment. FC Rosengård, in which PARKEN holds an indirect stake through the investment company Greater Copenhagen Football Invest, has mathematically failed to secure promotion to the Swedish second tier. Following a 1-1 draw against Tvååkers IF, the club remains in the third-tier Ettan Södra, trailing the promotion playoff positions by 11 points with three rounds remaining.
