Parking services expand in Alicante and Ciudad Real
New parking management initiatives are being implemented in the Spanish provinces of Alicante and Ciudad Real.
Repsol’s Waylet application, developed in collaboration with Arrive, now allows drivers to reserve parking spaces in 16 locations across Alicante. The service covers cities including Alicante capital, Altea, Benidorm, Calp, Dénia, Sant Vicent del Raspeig, Santa Pola, and Torrevieja. Users can check availability, prices, and locations via the app, with a loyalty feature that grants 2% balance for each reservation.
In Ciudad Real, the E.Leclerc hypermarket will implement a new barrier-controlled access system starting in November. The facility will offer three hours of free parking to all users, regardless of whether they make a purchase. After the initial three hours, a fee of 0.04 euros per minute will apply. This system will cover both the underground and surface parking areas.
