Parking updates announced in Novi Pazar and Osijek

In Novi Pazar, the City Construction Directorate has announced that renovations for the parking area behind the Social Work Center will begin on Monday, October 26. The project involves cleaning, filling, and leveling the terrain to optimize the space and accommodate more vehicles. Authorities have requested that citizens remove all vehicles from the area by Monday to allow machinery access, warning that remaining cars may be towed. Despite the renovations, the parking area will remain free of charge.

In Osijek, parking fees are expanding to 29 additional locations starting Wednesday, October 21. The charging zone is extending across the wider city center, reaching areas from Đakovština in the west to Zrinjevac in the south, and toward the KBC and Ban Jelačić Square in the east. Payments can be made via machines or SMS, and users must pay within 15 minutes of parking. Residents in the new zones can purchase monthly parking permits for 12 euros, while monthly business permits for the first zone are priced at 90 euros. A public consultation regarding parking regulations and control in Osijek remains open until November 16.
