Parkway Cancer Centre sees 20% rise in Indian patients

The Parkway Cancer Centre in Singapore reported a nearly 20 percent increase in patients from India during 2025. According to Dr. Ang Peng Tiam, the center's medical director, India has become one of the facility's fastest-growing markets.

A significant majority of these patients—between 60 and 70 percent—present with advanced or treatment-resistant stages of cancer, leaving only about 30 percent with potentially curable cases. Dr. Tiam noted that many patients seek care in Singapore after exhausting available treatment options in India, hoping for a different medical perspective or approach.

The Parkway Cancer Centre is part of IHH Healthcare. The organization maintains a CanHOPE office in Delhi to promote cancer awareness, prevention, and detection, and has expressed interest in expanding its presence in India.
