Parliament of Andalusia restores Salón de Plenos

The Parliament of Andalusia will resume plenary sessions in its Salón de Plenos following the completion of interior restoration work. The space, which is classified as a Cultural Interest Asset, had been temporarily replaced by the Alberto Jiménez-Becerril Room during the renovation process.

While the interior is complete, exterior work on the building's facades is expected to continue until April 2027 due to its complexity. President Ana Mestre noted that previous delays were caused by the use of a defective binder intended to address structural detachment issues. Scaffolding will remain in place during sessions, though work will pause on plenary days.
