Emilia-Romagna universities honored for international tech competition success

The Emilia-Romagna regional government has honored student teams from the region's four universities for their success in international technological competitions. The recognized projects include electric and hybrid single-seaters utilizing artificial intelligence, racing motorcycles, planetary exploration rovers, rockets, and electric boats.

Approximately 900 students participated across 12 different projects. The initiative, funded by a 400,000 euro regional investment, aims to bridge the gap between academic research and industrial application by allowing students to transform theoretical knowledge into concrete prototypes. The recognition ceremony in Bologna included regional officials, university rectors, and faculty members to celebrate the students' ability to combine creativity with advanced technology.
