Parma and Inter secure surprise signings in Serie A summer transfer window

Inter Milan reached a two‑year agreement with free‑agent English defender John Stones, who left Manchester City after his contract expired on 30 June. The deal is reported to be worth around €4 million per season, with a medical exam still to be scheduled before the contract is formalised.

Parma Calcio 1913 completed a surprise acquisition of 16‑year‑old forward Ousmane Diallo from Borussia Dortmund on a permanent basis. Sporting director Federico Cherubini described the youngster as a long‑term investment, noting his impressive performances for Dortmund’s youth side and Spain’s U‑19 team. The transfer is expected to be finalised within the next hours, with Diallo set to arrive in Emilia‑Romagna on 28 July.
