Parma civic groups host forum on city's economic future

Civic movements Civiltà Parmigiana and ChiAma Parma organized a talk titled ‘Parliamo di Parma’ at Marano Park to discuss the future development of Parma. The event, attended by over 300 people, focused on creating a long-term vision for the city by integrating economy, commerce, and tourism.

Maria Federica Ubaldi promoted the dialogue, emphasizing the need to build conditions that make Parma more attractive and competitive for businesses, investments, and talent over the next two decades. Key participants included Matteo Ferrari, president of the Unione Parmense degli Industriali; Emio Incerti, president of Federalberghi Parma; and Francesca Chittolini, president of Confesercenti Parma. Ferrari noted that the local economy has seen exports grow by 12.4% in a single year.
