Parma Club Tops Italian Regional Youth Swimming Championships

The July 17‑19 Regional Summer Finals of the CRCVL 2025‑2026 swimming championship were held at the Riccione facilities, where Coopernuoto Parma secured first place in the overall club ranking. Standout performances included Pietro Rosi’s double gold in the 50 m and 100 m backstroke and a bronze in the 100 m butterfly, Elena Canuti’s double gold in the 200 m and 400 m freestyle cadet events, and multiple podium finishes across senior and junior categories.

Earlier, on July 11‑12, the Regional Summer Championships for the Esordienti A category took place at the Berti pool in Pesaro. The Urbino team, representing Associazione Fermo Nuoto Pallanuoto, delivered strong results, highlighted by Emanuele Spezi’s 17.57 s in the 1500 m freestyle – the best Italian time in the category – and victories in the 200 m butterfly and 400 m freestyle. Teammates Fabio Di Paoli and others also earned top national placements, confirming the club’s growing prominence in youth swimming.
