Parma football club trains in Pinzolo ahead of Arezzo pre‑season friendly

Parma Calcio will face Serie C side Arezzo in its third pre‑season friendly, scheduled for 17:00 at the Pinzolo training centre. The match follows earlier intra‑squad games and a triangular against Trento and Sassuolo.

Coach Carlos Cuesta used the Pinzolo sessions to introduce a new tactical shape, alternating between a 4‑3‑3 and a 4‑2‑3‑1, with a back four and an attacking trident. He emphasized defensive solidity while seeking more creativity in attack. New signing Ousmane Diallo Thiao, a 2007‑born left‑winger from Borussia Dortmund, was highlighted as a prospect to strengthen the flank.

Additional training activities included set‑piece work, individual drills and fitness sessions, with players such as Bernabé, Ondrejka and goalkeeper Benjamin Cremaschi taking part. The camp aims to acclimatise the squad to the upcoming schedule and the colder conditions of the Alpine venue.
